Become a Friend of The Irish Gerard Manley Hopkins Society! We were
founded in 1987 to celebrate the poet, Gerard Manley Hopkins and his interests: poetry, painting, music, the arts, philosophy.
Mainly, of course, we do this through our Annual Gerard Manley Hopkins Summer School which has taken place during the last week of
July since 1987 grows and develops yearly.
Our Online Hopkins Archive, a resource for scholars, students and lovers of Hopkins poetry worldwide, contnues to grow.
The Irish Hopkins Society is a voluntary society which runs an international literary festival each Summer in Monasterevin. We need your support. We have continued since 1987 thanks largely to the generosity of our Friends.

he Gerard Manley Hopkins Society is a Not for Profit Company Limited by Guarantee and is approved for Tax Relief under Section 484 of TC.A. 1997.
