The Hopkins Youth Programme evolved by degrees, alongside the Gerard Manley Hopkins Festival. The Committee, and many of our Visitors felt that it would be a good idea to offer a challenging Programme to students and young people that would allow them to tap into the excitiement and richness of the Festival. The Programme now attracts students and young people from Kildare, Ireland and from around the globe. All of them are passionate about Hopkins, poetry, art, creative writing, discussion and joining in a range of Workshops.
